Road Trip 2018 – State and National Parks!

Planning a Visit to State and National Parks This Summer?

Are you entertaining the idea of a road trip in 2018? Wherever you might be headed in the U.S., there are a wealth of state and national parks that offer preserved spaces, wildlife and natural lands. Not traveling? There are parks to discover even in your own backyard. We think you many be surprised by the number of state designated parks in your own state. Across the U.S. the parks offer a view of regional landscape that makes us appreciate a place all the more. So, whether visiting somewhere new, or taking a detour from your daily routine, check out a new park and see  what surprises await.

How to Find Them

Take a look at the national registry of state parks and you’ll find listings by state as well as national parks, national forests, land preserves, wildlife preserves and other dedicated lands to appreciate as the weather welcomes us outdoors.

Each state manages their own parks page, so you’ll get up to date information on park closings, repairs from storms or other updates such as hours, activities, and seasonal highlights, so you may plan your trip accordingly.
